European & American type package substations, compact substations and prefabricated substation modules from 10kV to 35kV.
A box-type (package) substation puts the HV switchgear, transformer and LV distribution board together in one factory-assembled enclosure. It arrives on site ready to cable up — cutting civil works, installation time and land use compared with a conventional brick-built substation.
We build the whole package in-house: enclosure, HV ring main unit or switch-fuse unit, transformer and LV board. You get one drawing set, one test report and one shipment.
Three-compartment layout — HV room, transformer room and LV room — with a walk-in or non-walk-in option and metal-clad partitions between rooms.
| Parameter | Unit | Value |
|---|---|---|
| Rated HV voltage | kV | 12 (24 / 40.5 available) |
| Rated LV voltage | V | 400 / 415 / 440 (as required) |
| Transformer capacity | kVA | 50 / 100 / 125 / 160 / 200 / 250 / 315 / 400 / 500 / 630 / 800 / 1000 / 1250 / 1600 / 2000 |
| HV side configuration | — | Ring main unit (C–F–V) or switch–fuse unit, 2–4 ways |

| Standards | — | IEC 62271-202, GB/T 17467 |
Dimensions depend on transformer size, compartment layout and walk-in requirement — tell us the capacity and site conditions and we will supply a layout drawing.
Different sites need different packages — the electrical core stays the same.
A single sealed tank combining HV switch, transformer and LV panel, mounted on a concrete pad. Compact footprint, cable entry from below, ideal for residential areas, parks and streetscapes.
Minimal two-compartment layout where floor space is tight — HV switch and transformer share one room with a barrier, LV board in the second. Lower cost, smaller footprint.
Container-style modules with multiple rooms for larger projects: HV switchgear room, transformer room, LV room, control room and battery room, fully wired and tested before shipment.
| # | Information needed | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | HV system voltage & short-circuit level | Determines RMU rating and cable box size |
| 2 | Transformer capacity and vector group | Fixes enclosure dimensions and LV busbar |
| 3 | Number and rating of LV outgoing feeders | Sizes the LV board and cabinet width |
| 4 | Ambient temperature, altitude, humidity, wind/seismic | Affects insulation, cooling and structure |
| 5 | Enclosure preference (steel / stainless / GRP) and IP rating | Cost and corrosion resistance |
| 6 | Metering, compensation and automation requirements | Secondary equipment and wiring scope |
Send the transformer capacity, incoming voltage and required outgoing feeders — we will propose a layout and quote the complete package, FOB Shanghai or CIF your port.
